I count 4 plus the Halloween parade and field trip which needed parent participation during the day. At first DH didn't go, but then I started noticing that both sets of parents were going to things, so I have been encouraging him to go, too. It is really sad when no parents show up, though. Plus there were several days where they asked parents to attend: one was a pumpkin carving, another was an apple pie baking, and another was a gingerbread house building day.</p> <p>Dang, that's six days of events! I attended 5 of them, and Bee attended 6... dunno if we can keep this up. I think eventually, Bee and I will split up the random events... and maybe both of us will attend the important plays.</p> <p>I was thinking of skipping out on some plays, but the other day Bee said one kid was sobbing because neither of his parents showed up for a play. Dang, it sure is hard to be a working parent with a kid in school!</p> <p>How many school plays has your LO one had this year? </p>
