Usually 2 I think - they have a snack in preschool (some goldfish or animal crackers) and then he gets cut up fruit on his way home. Over the weekend none, unless we have a very late lunch planned (like 2 or 2:30).

Whatever. She eats well at meals, so I don't have a problem with what she eats in between. I focus on whole, homemade food for meals, and she mostly snacks on fruits and veggies.

Gosh maybe 5 lately? She's a peanut so if she says she's hungry she gets something to eat! Mostly pretty healthy; cheese, fruit, yogurt, cliff kids bars, smoothies. If we're out she'll get a cookie or whatever is around.

2-3 they're mostly healthy, but she usually wants several snacks right before dinner because dh gets home late. I try to distract her as much as possible

We are on 2 snacks a day, and generally they are healthy, but I feel like we are stuck in a rut. It's been a banana with dabs of peanut butter, or homemade hummus with crackers for the past 2 weeks. I add in slices of pear and apple at times.

She gets 2 snacks a day. Usually cut-up fruit or if we're out, a squeeze pouch. Sometimes I'll give her some cheese or a treat like a homemade muffin instead.

2-3. We usually have a morning and afternoon snack. Sometimes she gets one after daycare too if she's hungry. It doesn't affect her dinner.

They're a mix because when I say snack just mean not designated meal times. So sometimes it's a bagel with pb or pretzel sticks (I scrape the salt off) with pb, granola bar, mixed nuts, fruits. She typically asks for banana, apples, frozen blueberries or kind granola bars.

Another thing I'm terrible at, giving my toddler way too many snacks. She is constantly saying she is hungry! I wouldn't mind as much if they were healthy but half of the time they are not. Crackers, pretzels, dry cereal, drinkable yogurts, popcorn...

I think I need to limit her snacks throughout the day so she eats a more balanced meal. How many snacks does your LO get a day? Are they pretty healthy or more "treat" type snacks?
