We don't get much snow so when it does everyone freaks out. It snowed Friday and stopped saturday morning. The PNW has been hit really hard, and our city is completely unprepared. We did the math: kids have only gone to school 5 of the last 34 weekdays. We pay full tuition for all breaks and snow days. We've had a few days with snow and ice, but they manage it really well and transit works. I'm not even sure if they do snow days here. There's a half day Thursday so no school for her again.
