I think the pregnancy made it worse though since I couldn't take much to help my discomfort.</p> <p>I wish I would have been able to call off 4-5 additional days due to headaches and pure exhaustion, but it wasn't going to happen. I felt good enough to work up until now, I'm 39 weeks. I called out for a half day last week and worked a few hours from home. Today I called out because I got a whopping 2hrs sleep and had a wicked headache this morning. </p> <p>I really didn't want to use my PTO time if I could help it. Now that we know how much PTO I have to use through my leave, we're both okay with me taking days off as needed until the baby arrives. My husband, the worrier, is actually pushing me to stay home now more than working.
