Daily? Haha. I feed my kids a good variety of veggies, protein, and a carb component to each meal. Veggies can be hit or miss, but I keep offering. Sometimes they fall in love with it after the first couple dozen tries. :silly:

If it's something we eat as a family, they continue to get one or two bites. Usually if they have given it a good shot before and we know they just don't like it we don't push it.
Like @Mrs. High Heels: said my DD doesn't like potatoes (mashed fried grilled anything). We figure as long as she's eating the protein and veggie on her plate she's fine.

Ever time we eat it as a family I offer it.

DS doesn't like eggs but I eat them for breakfast. I don't bother making him any but if he asks for a bite of mine I'll let him try them. If I make quiche for supper though, I ask him to try some but plan on him probably eating something else.

DS really doesn't like stuff like pizza, mac 'n cheese, grilled cheese... basically, anything too cheesy. Because they don't add much to his diet, I don't push it and will only offer again out of convenience. But if it's fruit, vegetables, and protein - I'll continue to try. Even if it's one bite, I'll consider it a win.

I keep offering, tastes change. DH wouldn't eat any fruit besides bananas when we started dating. Sixteen years later he eats most fruits and even goes out of his way to buy some for himself. Since my casual repetitive offering worked on him I think it will eventually work on my LOs.

I don't stop offering, but I might lay off for a while, lest it become a power struggle.

We did this with beets. He didn't like them, so DH and I would casually talk about different ways to make them, how much we like them, etc. Then we offered golden beets and he ate them and said he likes them, just not red beets! Go figure, haha.

We also keep offering, if it's stuff that's in our normal rotation.

It depends what it is. If it's a vegetable that we eat often then I offer it all the time. There are times that she likes something and then goes through a phase of not liking it and then goes back to liking it so I'm glad we try offering it everytime.

We just keep offering if it's something we often eat. Like eggs. We've offered like a million times and he always tries but I honestly think he just hates them and wants to like them. Every time DH eats them he wants to try but then looks so grossed out haha.

My 3.5 year old is a picky eater. It was only recently that I have been able to get her to try one bite of something she thinks she doesn't like (usually a new vegetable).

How many times and how often do you offer something new or something your LO claims to not like?
