I was so afraid of issues with my supply, even though I made enough to cover my LO's daily needs and also freeze a bag a day. By the year mark, I had dropped down to 5 times a day. I just didn't know how to pump less because I was used to the frequency. It was hard enough dropping down to 5. It was even harder to wean. On days that I don't work I only pump in the morning after nursing. We have a sight deficit over the course of the week (1-2 bottles), but I had a decent freezer stash before going back to work.
