I'm dramatic about it - I will look at him, then clank the dishes around and start doing them. He will then say, "stop it! I'll do them!" I say no and keep doing them. We have so many more dishes from making everything from scratch. We were never huge on eating prepackaged processed foods but they came about every so often. We also used to eat out more. </p> <p>We run it usually twice a day, but then there is still a whole load of dishes left in the sink. The first one runs overnight, and then we do a load for breakfast/lunch and then one for dinner.</p> <p>That seems like a lot to me... but the number of dishes (and pans) we use went up by a lot after we stopped using so many processed foods and Mrs. Bee started cooking. I see now why so many people made the switch from cooking natural foods to eating processed food! Sometimes I shake my head in wonder at the amount of work involved in eating natural foods!</p> <p>Anyway, I'd love some sense of how many dishes other people do. How many times do you run the dishwasher on the weekends? </p>
