Maybe every day and a half or 2 days.... during the week it's once a day. But my son is gluten free (allergic to wheat) so I have to make all of his meals and snacks to send to daycare. I always wait until it's as full as possible before washing a load, and hand wash plastic and big dishes as they come by. I have tons of dishes so we have enough to eat 2-3 meals that day and run the dishwasher just once.
