Usually when I try to dry myself and end up with more dog hair than anything else. That is when I KNOW we need to wash them. We only have 2 towels we use between us that we like so they get washed fairly often. He looooves a new towel every.single.freaking.time he showers (I blame it on his constant travel and hotel life). I'm one of those where I'll use the same towel for awhile, then switch it out. I'd say I'm like @MamaMoose: and probably wash once a week. </p>
