I felt that some of the companies that came here were trying to screw us over because we are young and like you this is our first ever big project. One guy quoted us $6,900k for 4 windows and we said you are nuts and he goes ok ok how about $4,300. He charged us $10K. AND he said they were high quality windows, we'd never have any problems with furniture fading, yada yada. Well, 5 years later and the back of our red couch is orange. If the guy was still in business, I'd take him to court, cuz I'm pretty sure we had a "guarantee" of some sort. But, not surprisingly, he went out of business not long after doing our windows. We had them replaced shortly after we moved in. Well, we did the first floor first and then went back and did the second floor. The guy who did our first floor windows totally ripped us off. Lowes did the second floor and they're great. </p>
