He also feeds himself with a spoon and fork. We have taught him how to clean his hands and mouth with a napkin though, as well as clean up messes on the floor (e.g. spilled milk). My friends with kids think I'm crazy. We let her color with markers, paint, play with play-doh, feed herself soup, eat her own yogurt, etc. I have one friend that won't let her kids eat certain foods if it's not bath night. I guess I don't mind cleaning up messes because LO gets so into the messy things that it's actually a break for me! :)</p> <p>How messy do you let your LO get with food and activities? Are there certain things you prefer them not to do, so they don't make such a mess? </p>
