Because we wanted to be able to seat 10 guests at once, the biggest splurge was buying TEN dining chairs. The matching chairs were much too expensive, so we ended up with upholstered ones that coordinated with the table at half the price (also from SD). We bought our set during a sale (15% or 20% off, I think), so our total ended up being about $2300 including tax. Considering the quality and 10 chairs, I think it was a good deal. It also came with free delivery and set-up, so that was nice. You can select everything about your table and chairs - size of top, style of top/legs, style of chair, colors of top and bottom, etc. The table wasn't the expensive part, it was the 6 chairs. I think the chairs were all $400 or so a piece. </p>
