We are sooo lucky to have great insurance since I have to have so many ultrasounds. I spent about $2200 for that add on. Then, because I had a scheduled c section, I also had to pay my deductible, which was another $2200. If I had had a vaginal birth. it would have ended at just the maternity coverage. Then there was $150 for my room, $50/ each for 3 ultrasounds and a one time $35 copay. So I ended up just under $5K.
