It wasn't even that long ago but I can't remember. I can tell you we spent approximately $10,000 out of pocket (maybe a bit more) on 5 rounds of treatments. We did three rounds of injectables with TI and two rounds of injectables with IUI. If you can monitor at an ultrasound facility and do blood work at a Quest or Labcorb, they may have to code as diagnostics testing and it may be covered. They are technically not a fertility treatment center, so I don't think they would use fertility treatment coding. The sperm washing was $180 and the procedure (my clinic did it kind of weird) was an "outpatient in office procedure" and was $400. And somehow I don't think that ended up being coded as fertility either, cause I ended up just paying the $40 copay for it. It's really hard to know how they might code if they try to run it through insurance first. We are doing Clomid because I already ovulate on my own so can't help you with those costs, but we are doing ultrasound monitoring with a trigger shot. Our health insurance does not have infertility coverage either *however* there is a loophole of sorts that does cover diagnostic tests- i.e. ultrasounds, etc- even for infertility for our specialist copay cost! I'm sure your clinic knows to look for it, we would have had nooo idea ourselves. </p> <p>The IUI itself will be $450, $20 copay/each ultrasound, Clomid was $20 &amp; Ovidrel was $90 (both not covered on our insurance). Then we had to pay as we went (I needed a lot more than one ultrasound for each cycle!). Each ultrasound after that was $160, the lab work was about $75 and the trigger shot was $90.
