Not counting the envelopes of cash they give me for her bank account - which would put it in the $1,000's. I voted over $200. They definitely spend more on my kids at bdays/Christmas than I do. Its sort of ridiculous and I feel bad but they get so much I feel like they don't need a ton of stuff from us as well! My parents buy them tons of clothes, etc. My IL's buy more toys/"fun" gifts. I'm sure it'll be over $200 for his birthday since they spend $200 on my husband and I for every occasion. They bring toys and clothes every time they visit and that's once a week (I could do a whole other thread about that one).<br /> That kind of gift giving makes me uncomfortable.
