I absolutely believe in it. With my first m/c, the day I started bleeding I had no doubt it was over. I wasn't freaking out, I just knew. And I was right. The bleeding wasn't heavy, or anything that would have indicated that it was definitely a big deal. The doctor barely even took it seriously and took hours to even get back to me. But I knew. I also had a bad feeling about my second pregnancy, which betas confirmed wasn't going right. I trust myself on these things, enough so that I, personally, would push for early delivery if I really felt like something was wrong.

I believe in it. I knew something was wrong the day my water broke at 36 weeks 6 days My doctor had told me to take progesterone only through 35 weeks. I didn't lesson and kept taking it. 2 or 3 days after my last time taking progesterone my water broke. I wish I would have listened to my intuition and kept taking progesterone.

Not what you're asking, but if I was you I'd ask to be delivered.

My water broke at 30w, I made it to 32w before having cord prolapse. I had contractions earlier that day (which stopped with iv fluids) and wish that they had just delivered the baby then, saving him from the later birth injury. Hindsight is 20/20! Not to scare you, just sharing my perspective. Good luck

@PurplePeony: I essentially have two doctors opinions I see all the maternal fetal medicine specialists at my clinic. The doctor I saw today is on belief of the medical side. The doctor who has known me for both of my two complicated pregnancies, has voiced that she does believe in mothers intuition and it's something to listen too in cases like mine where science can't always back up things or I don't fall into the category because I'm a very unique case!

I think it's normal to be constantly worried when you're high-risk, but I think its best to trust the medical professionals in this case. But if you're worried, ask for extra monitoring! That definitely couldn't hurt. I was always worried something would go wrong because of what it took to get pregnant, but pregnancy and labor were normal for me.

My story is kind of like @purplepeony - I felt terrible for an entire week, went to the doc once, called twice, and then went into early labor a day later (@23 weeks). I knew something was wrong. But it's also normal to be really worried when you are high-risk, so I think it's important to talk to the right people (medical people).

I would at least see if you could get a second opinion. Totally not the same thing, but the day I went into labor, I *knew* something was different and my midwife kind of laughed it off because I was only 37+3 (I had a regularly scheduled appointment that morning). Sure enough, my water broke that evening. So I definitely think there's something to be said for trusting your body and if you think something is wrong, keep at it until you find someone who will listen to you.

That sounds like a very particular situation, but I think it's very smart to listen to your intuition, also to not be afraid to go to the doctor as many times as needed and talk to as many people as possible! Good luck with everything.

If you had high risk pregnancy complications and were showing some signs of fetal concerns, and while the doctors reassured you temporarily that things are good, but you still had anxiety and concern that your body was telling you something.

Let's say this complication can lead to fetal demise. And the doctors had a delivery window of 34-36 weeks. You're in this window but the goal is to get to 36 weeks and you even have the delivery scheduled.
