I cook 3 meals basically every day. But so far my kids eat anything they're given so it's not a big deal.

Atleast 5 nights a week.... I hate cooking but with P's intolerances and us trying to eat better there isn't much other option and most things I make are from scratch. I do try and cook enough to have left overs for the following lunch though, otherwise I cook for lunch too.

We eat out a couple times a month (dinner or lunch) and cook from scratch the rest of the time. We both love to cook so it's not a chore.

2x a week maybe. I cook big portions and we eat leftovers and take out, too. I find cooking to be a real chore. None of us are picky or have dietary restrictions so it's easy enough to throw stuff together that everyone will eat.

Hardly. Not because I don't know how or don't like to, but DH works so late and often doesn't eat dinner. He also refuses to bring lunch or eat breakfast. So... unless I want to cook and clean mostly for myself, it's much easier to eat out and eat leftovers. I make easy stuff for myself all the time, but I don't consider that really "cooking." I actually love to cook and miss it. Maybe I'll cook a real meal once or twice a week. When Baby Shopaholic starts eating real food, I'll probably prep or cook more often.

As much as I possibly can-we didn't eat out one meal this past week . I try and divide up the week into chicken/beef/fish/veg meals for variety and one or two crock pot meals that can get two diff meals out of. They way I have a home cooked meal everyday w/I actually having to cook everyday.

I eat three meals a day at home (I live about 5km from work, so I come home for lunch). I cook dinner Monday through Thursday. We usually get some sort of take-out on Fridays, and DH cooks on Saturday and Sunday. We both love to cook, but sometimes on weeknights it does feel like a chore.

I spend a few hours every Sunday pre-making my breakfasts for the week (usually some variation on a crustless quiche) and prepping my lunches, so the only meal I actually have to cook on a daily basis is dinner.

ETA: I eat paleo (well, -ish since getting pregnant) so I really need to cook all my meals to be able to avoid grains/gluten.

I cook frequently but always enough for leftovers for lunch and usually a batch of something on a weekend. Breakfast, when I was eating more paleo, was just steamed eggs and avocado slices, so it was easy. Or I'd scramble something the night before and microwave it up.

I make breakfast and dinner every night except Saturdays. Daycare provides lunch for my son which a huuuuuge help. I don't love cooking but I do love my family so I try to provide healthy meals as much as possible. We'll eat the occassional pizza or fast food every once in a while too though. Sometimes a few nights the same week if I'm held up at work.

I love to cook :) we get take out or go out maybe once a week, I cook everything else and nearly all from scratch.
@caffeinated: I pack three meals and a couple snacks for Mr SH three days a week (he works a 12 hour night shift), and he still eats two at home those days! It took me quite a while to get into a good routine and not feel overwhelmed by figuring out so many meals.

Since we are gluten-free and almost never eat out, I cook pretty much breakfast, lunch and dinner from scratch, and I make a ton of variety for my picky brood. So I cook at least twice a day, 7 days a week.... hours every single day. I don't enjoy it, but I feel like I have to do provide my family with the healthiest possible food.

What about you?
