But I had major oversupply, I think from having to pump when DS was hospitalized at 3 days old and my milk was just coming in. He wasn't nursing and I was terrified my milk supply would therfore tank. So I pumped every 2 to 3 hrs round the clock until he was back nursing again. Like before I could feed him in the middle of the night I'd have to pump like 12 oz BEFORE I could nurse him, so I didn't drown him with milk! </p> <p>He's 6 months now and through various techniques my supply is more normal. Still oversupply but manageable. I usually have to pump one side in the morning too manage engorgement, and maybe once overnight if it's bad.
