Mine's pretty small even though I've had mine since the fund started because I went back to study. Hubby only started his when we got together (listened to his lovely wife :wink: ) so combined we have less than 20K. I made peanuts at my first job and was out of the workforce for a few years after that while I was in law school, so I've only been able to really start putting money aside over the past 2.5 years (while still dealing with school loans). DH refuses to start a 403(b) because he doesn't like the idea of playing the market. It's a bone of contention between us because even though I kind of agree in principle, his view is totally unrealistic and impractical. He does put plenty of money in savings (well over $100k at this point) but I can't seem to convince him that it's not doing us any favors there. DH's is pathetic, honestly.
