The coverage is quite extensive, though. I've heard that Ontario has really high insurance rates though, so maybe that's part of it. In Texas we are only required to have $25K of coverage (ridiculous, I know!). </p> <p>@MrsBrewer, that seems high to me for your state (I grew up there).</p> <p>In Texas, with full coverage and limits at 100/300K for our two vehicles we pay about $1000/year. Not sure why, but that's how amica does it. We're both over 25 &amp; I don't have any moving violations or at fault accidents. Our insurance agent says that we have a really good rate, but I think its a load of bull!
