I can spend anywhere from $5-$20 on a person, but no more. We have to buy for my family only, DH's family doesn't do gifts except for his niece and we'll spend $20-$25 on her. </p> <p>I'll spend up to $50 on DH, and for LO we barely spend anything because she's only 15 months and doesn't know what a gift is yet. I've been finding little things on sale, nothing more than $3 each. I make goodies for my friends, too. We spend &lt; $400. And i already started ordering stuff online, so that makes it feel like less of an impact.</p> <p>We don't usually buy gifts for each other. If we want something during the year, we just buy it for ourselves. So we go out for a really nice dinner, go to a show, do something that's more of a date than a gift.
