I found little sand buckets with scoops for $1 each at Party City and filled with bubbles, plastic jewelry, whatever. For example, at my daughter's 4th birthday, the kids left with a "walker" dog Mylar balloon, a small stuffed dog with a collar they made from beads (adopt a puppy station), blingy sunglasses/plastic jewel rings, and sparkly puppy tattoos. But this was what they did at the party because it was at our house; I wasn't paying for a venue and food was cheap since it was just fruit, snacks, and cupcakes. And there were only about 8 kids including my own. </p>
