I cut way back on other gear and clothes to keep the budget in check.</p> <p>It was important that I find a formula manufactured close to home, after the milk tainting scandal in China. In the beginning we used about 4 cans per month at the cost of $100, at the end, we were down to 2 cans per month at $50. I've heard the cost is anywhere from $35-60 a can depending on your pharmacy! You could also pump to get your LO to drink from a bottle- that way your supply won't go down. I think I will try again when we have baby #2. Although I'm dreading it more than I dread childbirth again... but the worst that can happen is that I stop and the baby gets formula.
