So if my hair cost $100, she gets all of that but then might pay $500 per month or so to rent a chair (totally made up that $500 number.. could be more!) Sometimes I tip big and sometimes smaller, depending on the quality of the work. I don't want to set too HIGH or too low of a "standard" or precedent with this stylist.</p> <p>For reference the job costs about $120.00 this time and about $45 for touch-ups every 12 weeks.</p> <p>The poll is asking how much you would tip if you were me in this situation </p>
