I'm a low supply mama and get 2-4oz per pumping session twice a day at work. I nurse once or twice in the morning (depending on if he gets up super early 3/4am in addition to the normal 6am), once at lunch and then twice before bedtime. DS is almost 6 months old.<br /> I was on domperidone and it worked okay, got me up to 4-6oz per pump but it costs $180/month with my insurance, so I decided I'd try to see if I could maintain the supply after weaning off of it.. I have a double electric Hygeia and usually pump for about 15 minutes (until I know I am as empty as possible). </p> <p>While I don't enjoy pumping very much, I like it so much more using the double electric- I don't know how you can keep up with a manual (but I am so impressed at how much you get)! So tiring and time consuming, I'd skip it every chance I get. My pump was worth every single penny of the $319 I spent on it.
