I started weaning on Monday and today was the first day Of daycare drop off/back to work for me. Lol. He's almost two now. I remember how much he was eating but couldn't tell you what he weighed at the time without going back to look at his medical records.<br /> If I had to guess, that sounds about right. 12 Hours by 12 weeks also has a formula for how much they should be eating during the day in order to sleep well at night. I didn't with E, either. I just feed her when she's hungry, stop feeding her when she loses interest and add another ounce to her bottles when she starts draining them regularly. If I can settle her in the night with just her dummy (paci), I do. He was getting 4 oz, but one of his daycare teachers thinks he could drink more and DH read he should have 2- 2.5 times his weight. He eats 6-7 times a day: morning, 3-4 bottles at daycare, 1-2 times in the evening, and dream/MOTN. </p> <p>I'm definitely drying up and by Saturday I think he will be EFF. At that point I will switch him to Med Flow nipples.</p> <p>How much did/ does your 4 month old eat? Did you use med or fast flow nipples by then?</p> <p>Oops, wrong board </p>
