So I gave that one to my sister for twins, and bought a Chicco Bravo4Two. It has a bench on the back, and he can stand or sit on it. (I used to take care of another kid during the week, but from 34 weeks until I had my second and on weekends I used the double) and I used the second seat to hold my diaper bag or shopping. Haha. But I also don’t jog with my stroller, just go for long walks. I find the stroller can be tippy with two kids in it as well and also when too use the baby car seat attachment, but overall I still love it. I went with the Grace Modes stroller cause of the high weight limit and it’s so versatile. I usually had a baby carrier as well so I could put the baby in the carrier if the big kid wanted to be in the stroller. But we walk. A lot. Like.....everywhere. We only use the car every weekend or other weekend. But....she started camp at a new school and has to walk probably .5-.75 mile each way and it’s been fine as long as she doesn’t have to carry anything (I hook it on the stroller). And today...she probably walked close to 4 miles when we went into nyc to catch the women’s soccer ticker tape parade. Sooooooo all that to say...I think your kid will be ok. We have a double stroller (joovy) with a bench seat that he likes because he can hop on and off. We use it the most if we go to the zoo or mall. We also have a cheapie umbrella stroller that he looks kind of ridiculous in, but we live in a very hilly town and while we don't go on walks often it's nice to have so we don't have to carry him or listen to him complain.</p> <p>I'm on a pickle now because DS2 is 17 months and I just had DS3...DS2 is too young to sit on the joovy bench....so do I buy yet another 2nd double stroller where I can strap him and the new baby in? Then I will own like 6 strollers and DH will probably kill me. I’m very glad I have a double though. I got it used. If you aren’t planning on doing lots of walking though and have parks close by then a good jogging type single stroller with a higher weight limit and a stroller board should be adequate for your kid(S). Then if you need to you can baby wear and put your older one in the stroller. I didn't plan to get a double, but we've ended up having a number of times that my son wanted to ride and my husband ended up having to carry him (the zoo, for one example). So I decided to buy a double from Facebook Marketplace. I didn't want to pay for a new one, in case he doesn't use it long, and I chose one that works as a single as well. That way when he's done with it, we can still use it for awhile for my daughter. I'm very happy with it! We were gifted this Baby Trend double stroller where the 2nd seat can be taken out and it's just a "bench" seating, and my oldest really likes that. Actually, both of them squeeze on there now lol. </p> <p>So all that is to say we actually rarely used single strollers, but somehow got a lot of use out of our double. DD is now 5.5 and weighs over 40 lbs but she will still use it if we are out for lots of walking.. For example we went to DC to go to a Smithsonian. Well with parking and walking to the museum and in the museum she sat in it the whole walk there and back and occasionally in the museum. So even though she exceeds the weight limit AND she's almost 6 and is capable of walking she will still sit in it when I have it. DS is the same but he's only 2. Needless to say I am happy I bought it and we have def gotten our money's worth.
