We know we pay a lot but we went with a very well respected firm our church uses for their bookkeeping. They are extremely thorough. In fact our CPA spends about 20 hours preparing our 50-70 page return and runs a lot of calculations and scenarios for us (that we request) to minimize tax liability and maximize our retirement contributions. We also get about an hour of financial planning with the lead accountant once a year so I guess it's not just taxes.
