@septca: We have both of those. They are great. We used them to send R's lunch and snacks when she was still in the infant room. And are great still for in the diaper bag.

I only send breakfast and I send in a divided tupperware container. We do one of these:

Fruit and Yogurt (banana or cup of diced strawberries, peaches or pears)
French toast and fruit
French toast and sausage link
Fruit and cheerios
Fruit and nutri grain bar
Egg and sausage

Then a sippy cup full of milk. I look at the school lunch and snack menu, if both have fruit, then I don't send and do more proteins.

We send more than we know he will eat, because he can be unpredictable.

We do not use a fancy packing kit because the daycare had a a fridge, so we sent labelled tupperware in a plastic bag.

I send a freezer bag with breakfast, lunch, and a snack. Because our child care situation is a nanny share, we can leave snacks at their home and our girls also share a lot.

LO usually has yogurt w/fruit for breakfast. I pack 6 oz. of milk, lunch (which includes a carb, protein, and veggies), and a small container of fruit. I pack the same amount she eats at home. I use small tupperware with silicone cupcake liners, same as @locavore_mama:, one larger one for her lunch, and two that snap on top with her fruit and veggies.

My toddler is an unpredictable eater. Sometimes she will barely eat anything and other times she will wolf down two sandwiches, carrots, a bowl of yogurt for lunch and ask for more so I always overpack and let her pick.
I also use the click tupperware and sent a sandwich or 8oz of yogurt and two sides (carrots, apples, pretzels, applesauce, etc...) and a drink. That seems to be fine for her.

Oh my gosh, a TON! My DD is a total chow hound. I send lunch + 2 snacks + a park snack (Cheerios or animal crackers) + a pouch (this is back up for my nanny in case DD is still hungry - 80% of the time she eats it) + milk + a water cup.

Today, I packed:
- a small container of black beans (1/2 cup)
- a Dr. Prager's spinach and potato pancake
- a cup of sliced grapes
- a small container of baked oatmeal (I am going to post the recipe in a separate thread because I need new ideas!) - maybe 1 cup
- a spinach, pea, and pear pouch
- Cheerios

Yesterday, she got:
- about 1/2 cup of cut cantaloupe
- about a cup of black beans and broccoli with a little shredded cheese
- 6 oz. of green smoothie made with Greek yogurt, fruit, and spinach
- a sweet potato and white bean pouch
- chedder bunny crackers

ETA: I have an insulated lunch bag that I pack everything into. I put the carb snacks in the outside pocket, and then stack the containers and drinks in the inside. These are my favorite types of containers - perfect toddler size:

I don't send as much as she eats at home because the teachers won't have time to make sure she eats it all like we do.
I put it in a click tite Tupperware with 4 silicone cupcake liners. She gets a protein, veg, carb/misc and fruits.

Our current daycare provides food and I only send almond yogurt, but Xander can pack down a decent amount of food. At home he usually eats 9 oz for breakfast and 9-12 oz for lunch!

I know most toddlers are eating finger foods, so you probably don't know the ounces, but in general, how much food do you send (especially if you send for both breakfast and lunch)? How do you pack it?
