Sometimes there is a great sale going on somewhere and I stock up on some clothes for next season for the kids and that can add up. But then there are weeks where I'm stuck in the house bc it's too cold so no money gets spent. </p> <p>My personal philosophy is save some, spend some. Like, a certain type of toilet paper - scan the barcode and you get 50 points. Usually we save it up and buy like a dyson vacuum one month and consider it to be our "fun money" for a couple of months. I've found spending money as an adult and married is not as fun as it used to be... I'm the nerd who likes watching our savings grow! </p>
