It was dark red and definitely raised - similar to your description of a rope underneath. At my 2nd c section (20 months later) the doctor cut out the scar tissue and told me to apply vitamin e oil or mederma to it. Well, it's basically still a dark red scar with a thinner rope feeling. It does wrinkle a bit if I bend over, but otherwise, it's barely noticeable. </p> <p>Will have a RCS in September.
