I was *so* excited to find a great deal--$300 for a session. Then I found out that was just the sitting fee, then you had to pay another $600 for digital rights (gulp!).</p> <p>In the end, I used a random friend-of-a-friend who was newer to the business who still charged me $400 with all digital rights. The pictures were great, but we weren't in any of them. She included all the images in both color and black and white on the disc, which was great, but I wasn't 100% thrilled with how they came out, so I'm trying out a new photog this time. </p> <p>This time around, I need to pay for the session and images separately. The session fee is $150 for 3-4 hours, which can include some pics with other family members. She also threw in a free mini-maternity session for free. There is a range in prices for the photo packages, but I'm thinking we'll end up spending and additional $300 on that. I think ive generally seen them more around the $300-400 mark.
