With #2 on the way we are having to make decisions on what to do. </p> <p>Just found out with the sibling discount it will be about $1720/month for us to have both of them at the facility. It's only half days for the school year. There are some public schools that offer it but most are private places. Basically it helps it our daycare costs down. It is a non-profit, and is a whopping $120/month for 2 mornings a week. Our daycare has infant, toddler, and preschool groups so my DD just progresses through the groups. She can stay there until she reaches kinder. At first she'll go part time, so 3 days a week half days will be $333 a month, a little cheaper then normal prices because we're members. Eventually she'll do the extended day, which is 9:30-2:30, 5 days a week of that is $600. The montessori school here is $20,000 for 5 half days! There's basically no pre-school option for under $15,000 that I've seen so far...I know we have plenty of time to figure this out but it's starting to make me nervous, since those prices, times 2-3 kids (plus inflation) seem impossible. </p> <p>Are preschool prices ridiculous where you are too? Or does your area have any really good free/low cost ones? Are you doing preschool for your LO? </p>
