i put everything i wanted/needed. because you're also doing it for you. i put a $700 stroller on it, even though i know people will not buy it, because i'll get at least 10% off the price on completion.

Just make sure you need/want everything on the registry. I used to get a little bummed when people would purchase things that weren't high on my want list.

The more the better. I like being able to have lots of options on a registry. And with 3 showers, you will need a really big one!

I wouldn't worry about it, especially with all of those showers you'll need a big registry. My only advice would be try not to put anything you don't need on there, because people will buy you that stuff instead of necessities and you'll be stuck buying a bunch of things yourself.

I was feeling the same way about our registry and my mom told me, "Stop looking in other people's bank accounts." She said people will buy what they can afford and sometimes go in together on the more expensive items. I agree, more is better, especially when their are options of varying price ranges.

I completely agree - I was so worried about this with my wedding registry, and then I just recently was invited to a wedding..and she only had around 20 things between two registries! I was SO frustrated, because I didn't know her to go off the registry (she was marrying DH's cousin), and couldn't really afford any of the items on there! More is better, I say! :)

I think the same rule as wedding registry's applies. Options are always nice, and expensive items are fine because sometimes groups of friends put money together for something special.

We're about to make our registries public, but I'm worried that we look greedy with the amount we put on there. I really didn't try to add so much, but I know I like options when I buy something from someone's registry. Plus we're having 3 showers...and most things aren't expensive (diapers, blankets, bathtub, etc)

Any input?
