@sunny: organized?ME!?! Hehe, it's just that I reeeeeally dont have much extra in my supply so if I want a stash in august then I'd better start now (I could probably only get like 4oz a day).

DD is 10.5 months and I do notice that she is taking less milk than she was around 6 months. At 6 months she was nursing in the morning and night plus three 5 oz bottles so I would say 25-30 oz a day. Now at 10.5 months she still nurses day and night but drinks less, and she only takes three 3-4 oz bottles during the day, so 19-22 oz a day. She really loves her solids so she naturally cut back on the milk herself.

Just for reference:
breakfast - milk and 3 oz fruit purée plus 2 spoonfuls yogurt or a fresh mozzarella cheese stick
lunch - milk and 3-4 oz veggie and meat porridge (i.e. pumpkin and chicken) plus 2 oz fruit purée
snack - milk and puffs or fruit (banana)
dinner - 4 oz veggie and meat porridge plus 2 oz fruit purée, then nurse to sleep

just pump as much as you can, but don't stress if he doesn't get exclusive breastmilk. it doesn't have to be all or nothing! :)

@brownie: omgosh that is a lot! I was hoping it would be much less since solids will be involved in his diet by then:/ And thank you:) but looks like if hes drinking that much milk--I may not be able to wean him in time for Ramadan because I may not have the stash:/

My son is still doing 5 feedings at 20 months. It's been the same for a while. So that is about 20-25 ounces a day. Kelly's mom has some numbers too. Good luck on weaning and fasting.

I plan to pump & store little by little from here until LO is 10.5m (about 7.5m from now) so I can stop BFing at 10.5m. I still want LO to have BM until 12 months though. So, I need to know how much milk I need stored to get him from 10.5months to one year without running out of BM.

*If you are wondering why I have to stop BFing at 10.5m: it is because it will be our month of Ramadan and I'll be fasting (which usually diminishes supply). I can *not* fast, but I already missed Ramadan this year because I was pregnant so I don't want to miss 2 years in a row!

ETA: Oh & please tell me how much at a time (how many feedings, how many ounces) so that I can properly bag the milk into serving size baggies.
