He had a growth spurt and increased his intake to 5 oz every 3 hours with one middle of the night feeding recently. He is on the smaller side and still less than 5 percentile for weight.</p> <p>My niece is 4 months old and drinks 7 oz of breastmilk every 4 hours. Probably less when I'm actually nursing her so she eats more often when I'm home. Sippy and straw cups don't always have measurements on the side. I know my LO drinks way less milk once we got rid of the bottle so I make sure that she also has yogurt and cheese.
