LO is a formula eater- she drinks a little more than 30 oz a day.

RJ drinks milk with breakfast and dinner, but he barely drinks anything at breakfast. He eats yogurt every morning and cheese with lunch and dinner so we don't worry too much about his milk intake at this point.

Some days he'll only take a sip or two of milk... or any liquid, for that matter. Other days he'll guzzle an entire cup of milk in one shot.

My LO takes between 15-16 ounces while at daycare in a ten hour day. Shes been taking this much since she was three months old and is just now starting solids but I don't see a decrease coming yet.

Not a lot, my son's not a drinker, he's an eater. Right now at 14 months he drinks 2 bottles of cow's milk, about 8 ounces each. He dropped the bottle before bed at 9 months, I think.

He drinks water during the day and with meals, and he's steadily gaining, so I don't worry too much about it. I personally don't get the reliance on milk for the bulk of calories and fat. There are other ways to get nutrition into kids, but I do understand that if the kids are picky, milk is an easy way!

Little Jacks doesn't drink any milk... so we work really hard to get her yogurt and cheese. Sometimes she'll take cereal with milk, but mostly she prefers it dry.

@Rubies: I have a friend who weighs her LO before and after each feeding! I thought that was so clever!!

No clue. DS is still breastfed and only gets a small amounts of solids. He's getting plenty though.

well since I went back to work, she has had consistently between 18-21oz a day of breastmilk up to 6 months. Shes 7 months now and getting more into solids, so shes down to about 14-15oz of breastmilk a day plus solids.

I have no idea how much milk LO gets - but I SO WISH I could know! She breastfeeds only and won't even take a bottle of breastmilk so I don't actually know how many ounces she takes.

I don't keep track since she's nursed.. But she nurses ever 1-3 hours depending on hunger level. I want her to continue to nurse well, but would love for her to start eating solids better too.

No idea really. I stopped keeping track once we switched to straw cups at 15 months because straw cups don't always give you measurements on the side.

Olive (almost 5 months!) drinks nothing but breastmilk... Charlie (almost 27 months) drinks way more milk than he should.

We finally switched him to soy milk, which he drinks but doesn't enjoy as much as he enjoyed cow's milk. So hopefully he will be slightly less of a milk monster. We're trying to get his milk consumption down in general, so he is hungrier and eats solids better!

How much milk does your LO have a day? Are you trying to increase their milk consumption, or decrease it?
