Around 75% for us too. Eggs, veggies, fruits, milk, and meat are all organic. Actually never mind. I'd say maybe 90% of their foods are organic. My husband and I eat a lot of non-organic food though.

@lamariniere: oh interesting about buying processed foods organic. I actually tend to buy unprocessed stuff as organic and ignore the organic breads, pastas, etc. and just buy conventional.

Pretty much the same as @lemondrop: .
Organic is probably 5%. We just plain can't afford it. We cook 95% from scratch and I think that's more important.

Dairy, eggs and meat are organic about 90% of the time.
Produce really depends. I buy organic when I can/when it is available, but I don't always have the choice. Any processed foods like bread, pasta or crackers I try to buy organic. However, the availability here is just not the same as in the US.

When we eat out, there aren't usually a ton of options.

In general I put the priority on eating whole foods and as many home cooked meals as possible. I buy organic and local products when available.

Food at home, close to 100%. She mostly eats organic chicken, veggies and fruits.

Food outside, around 50%. She will get an organic pouch puree but I give her bits of pieces of my meals which I'm assuming is not organic.

When she first started solids 100%. So probably from 6-9 months.

Then when she started more finger foods probably 80%. All her purées were organic, veggies and fruits, eggs, yogurt, and most meat but she had some non organic stuff like pasta, rice and cheese.

Now at almost 23 months probably 50% of her food is organic. She gets organic milk, yogurt, eggs and some fruits and veggies but a lot of other stuff isn't organic

I'd say about 80-90% of LO's diet is organic. Things like meat, eggs, fruits/veggies, cheese, milk, yogurt, and really any dairy are always organic. We even do organic for many grain products like breads, waffles/pancakes, etc... LO eats organic pouches as snacks and I do my best to always stock up when there are sales and/or coupons. I've found Whole Foods to be cheaper than most grocery stores (even Walmart) for things like milk and eggs.

@Freckles: ditto to what you said. We're more concerned with eating a diet of whole, real, unprocessed foods rather than focusing on an organic label.

We're also more interested in finding local sources rather than big farm "organic" sources. Many small farms are organic/low pesticides, but are not certified because certification is an expensive process in the US. Organic is big business.

Eggs and meat are always "organic" (real free-range, small farm, humane treatment, etc.) except when we eat out - - it's a priority of ours to eat better meat, which means eating less of it because it is more expensive. It's also better for you and richer, so you don't need to eat as much so it's not really that much more expensive in the long run.

I'm not concerned about organic. I try to emphasize whole, un/less processed, homemade, no added sugar foods. I find those things to be far more important in terms of our health and general sense of well being.

I buy organic when it comes to fruit and veggies that taste better that way. I also buy local when the price is similar, and that is often organic. But I rarely buy something JUST because it is organic.

Probably 75%. All milk, cheese, eggs, meat and fruit. Most of our veggies are not, unless they are on the dirty dozen list. He does eat snacks and regular milk at preschool that I'm sure are not organic and also when we are eating out I can't be sure what is organic if it isn't labeled.
