She doesn't get our phones unless we are desperate at say a restaurant. She doesn't play with the ipad every day. Maybe 30 mins on the weekends. She does Endless Alphabet or Numbers, matching game, or a drawing thing. She doesn't watch you tube or anything like that.

During the week, more than I like because I am not there to police it. He gets screentime in the morning at my mom's house and then sometimes in the afternoon while dinner is being prepped.

No phones just because I worry she'll break them. LO is so weird and doesn't watch shows or movies on the iPad but loves to look at random pictures in Google images...like yesterday she asked to look at pictures of trees lol. So maybe 10-15 minutes/day looking at random pictures. Unless we're on a plane then she pretty much watches a movie or plays Endless Alphabet the entire time.

Almost zero, all the time. I feel like it's a really bad habit to get into because tablets/phones are so accessible. They might get the iPad on a road trip or if I'm really sick and can't care for them. Phones never.

DD gets to watch videos on my phone when we have longer car rides, so only on weekends. She's really bad in the car and I get carsick trying to entertain her so this just makes everyone's lives easier.

When she's sick we've def let her watch TV. She's still young so she doesn't really stare at it the whole time anyway. We don't go out of our way to limit any screen time as long as we interact with her through it.

Oh, we're so bad about this. We hardly ever turn on the TV (we'll go weeks if not a whole month without the TV), but he uses the ipad everyday. He watches shows (Netflix or YouTube) for about 10-20 minutes in the mornings while DH and I get dressed, and then for about one hour in the evenings while I put the baby down/finish dinner/clean up kitchen. I really need to figure out how to put time restrictions on the ipad so that it just shuts down on him after some time - I don't even know if this is something that can be done. That said, as long as he gets a warning, he's pretty good about putting the ipad away and playing with his toys.

Weekends I am not real strict about

Weekdays - Zero in the morning, after school they can have 30 mins on Kindles while I make dinner. After dinner they can watch 30 mins of TV- depending on what needs to be done it might be higher.

DS plays games on his kindle and it directly affects his behavior - which is why I limit that more than TV

It varies and we don't lee track. Some days are way more than others, but she doesn't have an issue with being told no or giving it back when we say, so no reason to limit it. During the week, she hardly gets any while at my in-laws and the sitters, it's mostly 30-60 minutes in the evening. Weekends are where it varies most!

None--the phone is like crack to him. Immediate tantrum/whining ensues when it's taken away, regardless of how many warnings or how much time he's had. we only use it for vital situations, like bribing him to take medicine or something.

Phone/tablet time is very minimal these days. If I need to get stuff done and they won't play independently, I'll rather turn the TV on. Lately, DD1 has stopped asking for the TV when we get home so I don't turn it on. They'll usually play while we're making dinner.

So tablet/phone time is maybe 30 minutes a week?

Not including actual TV, how much phone time or tablet time does your LO get per day? What times of the day do they get it and how do you limit/keep track of the time?

Some days I think get out of hand, and we need to find a way to limit it! On the other hand some days are much better, it depends on what is going on, who is sick, what I HAVE to get done etc.
