But, right now, it has been snowing every few days. There is a 4 ft high snow mountain in my backyard from where we've been throwing it from the path to the back alley. Apparently, we've already gotten 4 in more snow than we normally have in the whole winter (and we've probably still got 2 months to go). I just pulled out the ruler and we have 8 inches, and no signs of stopping. We live about 30 minutes from the lake though so we get a lot of lake effect. We have a couple inches here, and probably 5 more to come, but it is coming pretty slow so it isn't too bad. This weekend, I'm working from home tomorrow and have no real plans for the weekend, and I'm in the city and don't need to drive anywhere, so bring it on, blizzard. </p> <p>If I had to drive somewhere, shovel a driveway or shovel the car out, or basically do anything besides stay inside and eat soup and drink hot chocolate... probably a foot would be plenty.
