If you're worried about it, I would just call or go to the doctor. There's a good chance it's reflux if she's fussy after a feeding.

My daughter spits up a lot too. Some days she spits up less... but most days a lot comes back up. ...especially when she's on tummy time!

I'm not too worried b/c she seems pretty happy, and she's gaining weight like a champ. She probably has a little bit of reflux, but most babies do. They outgrow it eventually, although my pediatrician said it might take up until we start her on solids.

My son spit up a lot too. I took him to the doctor and she said he had reflux so we put him on Zantac. He outgrew it by 3 months.

Spit up will always look like it's way more than it actually is. My LO is a big spitter too but I was advised that it wasn't a big concern unless he seemed to be in pain or discomfort and did not have lots of wet diapers. He is a happy spitter so I just deal with it as concerning as it may be sometimes.

I read to take an oz of liquid and spill it on the counter. It is a TON and likely way more than your LO is spitting up, right? :)

LO is 7 weeks tomorrow and has always spit up a lot. I'm starting to worry that maybe what we're experiencing isn't normal.

LO spits up, often multiple times with each feeding and sometimes just downright throws up. She'll also spit up while sleeping, during a diaper change and often when we're doing bicycle legs to help work some farts through. She's been extra fussy lately (thinking 6 week growth spurt) but what's worrying me is she's been fussy after feedings, which she hadn't been before. I can't decide if its because she's still hungry or if there's something more to it.

Does this much spit up sound normal?
