The longest I've ever been apart from her was about eight hours to go to a wedding. Most weeks though I'm away from her....for maybe two hours a week. Last time I actually went out without her was when I went to a concert in November. Other than that, I leave her in the gym daycare for an hour a couple times a week, and once a month DH and I go on a date (maybe 5 hours). Probably maybe 24 hours total, but even that is only because I went to a bachelorette party 2 hours away and left her for half the day-- and cried doing it! (She was less than 3 months at the time). </p> <p>I have several SAHM friends so we plan things during the day and bring the babies. On weekends we tend to do things as a family, or I'll run a quick errand, but since I'm BFing, I'd rather do it directly than miss a feeding and give her pumped milk-- just more work. And we don't have family nearby for date night baby sitting. DS is 16 months old and if I tallied all the time we've been apart since he was born, I don't think it would even total 24 hours? Breastfeeding and not taking a bottle since about 6 months is a big reason... I'll occasionally leave him with my mom for an hour or two but that's rare and when DH is home we do everything as a family. </p>
