I keep telling people we're not really trying, but then my friend told me that if I'm no longer taking the pill, having sex whenever we want, and taking prenatals, that I'm pretty much trying. ;-)</p> <p>I'm not charting yet just because I know how easily I can drive myself crazy, and I ideally want to wait 3 months or so before doing that. But if we somehow got pregnant right away, I'd be thrilled. We did not try that month because I figured that it made sense to give my body a little break before we started actively trying. We also were going on our honeymoon to Hawaii in July, so I didn't to be pregnant during that. It'd be more difficult mentally if you think the odds are as high right off the bat, but there aren't any increased risks of birth defects or side effects for you. I, for one, intend to enjoy time without BC or pregnancy side effects (though I'm actively encouraging the pregnancy part.
