His face and even his arms. People will say "he's sunburnt" and I have to explain that no, he's just hot. And I'm sure some don't believe me. Today was 90 and we were out for a couple of hours. Sure enough he was super red and someone said something. We got in the AC and he was back to normal after 20 mins. </p> <p>Last year he was still only 8-12 months during the summer, so maybe only 1-2 hours per day.<br /> Now that he's 20 months, we spend about 1-2 hours in the morning. Lunch and nap. Then back out for maybe 2 hours. It's just too hot and harsh out for me. We have a covered patio so that makes lunch possible right now. Our yard isn't super shady so we will occasionally snack outside but it's WAY too hot to eat lunch out there. We usually got out around 930/10. In for lunch and naps and we go out again around 4 then we go in around 5/530 to start dinner. Sometimes we go out after dinner but sometimes we dont. After daycare he starts talking in the car about going outside when he gets home, which is hard because he always wants to ride bikes to the park and I have a 10 week old. On weekends he starts talking about the park basically from the moment he gets up. This weekend he hit the park at 8am. They go out twice a day at daycare. At night we have about an hour between dinner and bathtime. We've also been eating dinner on the patio.<br /> On the weekends probably 4-5 hours? We go out in the morning then back inside to make lunch. Eat on the patio then back inside because Dd2 needs a nap. If DH isn't working then DD1 is usually outside with him then as well. Then we'll head back outside after 3pm. Eat dinner out and usually head back in around 630. So we can clean up from dinner and get ready for bath. We go out in the morning around 9:30/10 and stay out until dinner (we eat snacks and lunch outside) and then come out for a bit after dinner, before baths. So we average a good 8 hours outside since naps are inside. </p>
