He took his vacation week with E so he was born on a Monday and DH was back to work the following Monday. With this one he'll be taking less. We chose to use his (only) vacation week over the summer to take a good, family vacation so that we could get some quality time as a family of 3 before DD arrives. Soooo all the time he takes off when she's born will be unpaid. He didn't enter it as PTO, then his boss said that it was his unofficial paternity leave. It's how they do it at his company. </p>
