I pay 12-15 for college educated and depending on experience as well. We always pay the same amount to our sitters but if we were only ever leaving DS with someone when he was asleep, I would pay less each time. I'm an adult, but I get $10/hr for overnights while I'm asleep &amp; my regular rate during awake hours whether the kids are awake or not. So 8x$10 for the night while I sleep (&amp; hopefully the kids do too! We are going to put DD to bed, so the girl really just has to sit on the couch and watch TV. DD doesn't wake up at night anymore so its a super easy gig. The girl just graduated from high school.</p> <p>How much would you pay? Is $10 an hour too low? We've only ever used a babysitter once and have no idea! </p>
