Like is overall time spent about an hour? If so, I’d probably lean toward just paying whatever the hourly wage is for a solo care nanny in your area. Here, that runs $22-25 an hour. I’m considering hiring someone (a babysitter we’ve used before) to just pick her up at school and drop her off at an aftercare place, but trying to figure out if that makes sense or if I should just pay her to also watch her until we get home. </p> <p>So what would you pay for someone to drive about 20 minutes to get your kid and another 20 minutes to drop her off somewhere? </p>
