I pump into the medela bottles but then after I gather a total of 4oz, I'll pour them into bags &amp; freeze. Sometimes I'll do a bag of 8oz and use it for 2 bottles that day so I don't waste bags.<br /> My son never eats more than 4...usually somewhere between 3-4 based on AM or PM (in AM he wakes up staaaaarving whereas in the PM he dozes off at 3oz). How much should I aim to have in each bottle? I know it's likely dependent on my LO, but is 3-4 oz. a good starting amount for each bottle?</p> <p>I am better to have too little in a bottle, to then have to add rather than too much in a bottle and some go to waste?</p> <p>Should I always be pumping into bottle, or can I/should I use the bags I've seen that I can freeze/store to be put in bottle for later? </p>
