If it's a show that I'm super into, I could marathon for hours at a time as long as I have some sort of work on the computer to do at the same time or a craft project. I can't just sit in front of the TV and watch. Drives DH crazy when we watch movies but I get antsy and bored otherwise. I will put the TV on when I'm knitting or sewing or organizing files on my laptop or processing photos. Anything will do but I tend to like documentary type shows for that and I only end up giving it partial attention. </p> <p>If DH had his way, he would have the TV on the entire time he's home despite him not even paying attention to it. He likes the constant bombardment of entertainment I guess, but it gives me a headache so if I notice he's not actively watching, I turn it off. I have been curtailing our TV consumption a little at a time since we found out we have a baby coming. My goal is to have DH used to not having the TV on at all in the background by the time the baby comes. I am DETERMINED to have zero screen time for this kid until 2.
