It was just a rabies shot, a test for heartworms, and some heartworm meds. We have a 1 year old yorkie and in the beginning it was definitely expensive! Three xrays + medication.</p> <p>$150 neurologist consult for same dog; thankfully she presented okay and ended up not needing an MRI/surgery.</p> <p>It's been an expensive two months, to say the least. And this weekend I have a dental coming up for a different dog. I thought it just needed stitches, but the vet said she had lost a lot of blood and she stayed there 4 nights.
